Conclusions
We do not need to think of change as an imposition from outside or above. We can creatively engage with one another and become better together.
CHRIIS is an example of a tool that may help us do this. It is an early attempt to act on the understanding that desired organizational movement will not come as a direct outcome from any single way of knowing, doing, or being. Such movement is more likely to emerge from an integration of several, for example, psychological reflection on the current state, philosophical dialogue regarding values; scientific exploration through research; imagination and innovation of designerly play; pragmatics of political debate; and a commitment to sustain and build on change. In this sense, CHRIIS brings together multiple ways of knowing, doing, and being to generate a way of becoming.
